# Smooth Mesh Tower

In this definition you can use Mesh+ & Weaverbird plugin to smooth a parametric rotating tower and control the bumps.

In this Paracourse lesson we are going to model a parametric helix in grasshopper from scratch.

In this grasshopper example file you can model a relaxed mesh by using the kangaroo plugin and defining a simple twisted connection.

In this grasshopper example file you can model a twisting strip by defining rotating rectangles with a timer.

In this grasshopper example file you can create a fractal system similar to the growth of a tree.

In this grasshopper example file you can simulate a spin force by defining a polar field.

In this grasshopper example file we have used the Kangaroo plugin to deform a mesh and then combine the mesh+ plugin with weaverbird to model the final smooth mesh.

In this grasshopper definition you can simulate and model the Newton's Cradle by using the Kangaroo plugin.

In this grasshopper example file you can model a parametric facade pattern and control the number of the strips and their deformation distance.

In this Grasshopper definition, you can model a parametric space frame structure in which the nodes are located on a Geodesic Dome.

In this grasshopper definition you can use the "Sierpinski Carpet " from the weaverbird's plugin to model a smooth 3d shape.

In this grasshopper definition you can use the metaball (t) custom component to model a series of parametric sections.

In this grasshopper example you can use the "Jellum Bulger" component from the Heteroptera plugin to deform a simple square grid. you can Right click on the component and choose "Planar" mode to generate them in xy plane.

In this Grasshopper definition you can model something similar to the spiraling observation tower by EFFEKT.

In this Grasshopper example file you can define a series of point attractors and by deforming a surface you can finally model a series of parametric strips.

In this Grasshopper definition you can model a parametric mug with a differential pattern growing on its surface.

In this grasshopper definition, you can model a Schwartz minimal surface by using the Jellyfish plugin.

In this grasshopper definition, you can model a parabolic structure by defining only two points.

In this grasshopper definition, you can simulate agents following a curve and also control their properties and flocking parameters by using the Zebra plugin.

In this grasshopper definition, you can connect a series of meshes together be selecting the bridging faces.

In this Paracourse Lesson, you will learn how to convert a sphere into a series of reciprocal strips. First, we are going to use the Kangaroo plugin to model the baselines, and then multiple techniques have been used to extract the final strips.

In this definition you can model a parametric chandelier in grasshopper and extract the curves for fabrication.

In this Paracourse Lesson, we are going to model a parametric Nurbs stair from scratch. First, we are going to take a look at the algorithm and how we can model the stairs as easy as possible. Then we are going to model the base lines and finally the stairs.

Screen-Shot-2020-01-22-at-11.11.46-AM.pngHey Parametric House, I am having trouble getting the Mesh+ plugin to work. I attached a picture of the error message I am getting.

Does Mesh+ run on Grasshopper on a Mac or is it exclusive to PC?

If so are there any work arounds for this example?

Or have I installed the plugin incorrectly?

Thanks for the help!

I’m afraid the problem is with mac…have you contacted them by their official plugin page?

You can also produce this by using the weaverbird’s stellate component
