The Burnham Centennial Committee, in collaboration with City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs, Millenium Park Inc. and The Art Institute of Chicago, selected Pritzker Prize winning Zaha Hadid Architects to design a pavilion to commemorate the centennial of Burnham’s Plan for Chicago.

It was opened in December 2016.[1] It features the unconventional appearance of a glass curtain walled square tower with a cuboid-surfaced spiral cut into the side of the building.
In this architecture project we are taking a look at the Aqua Tower as an example for the Architecture design section. Aqua is an 82-story mixed-use residential skyscraper in the Lakeshore East development in downtown Chicago, Illinois.
