The fluid geometric form is articulated as a series of alternating CNC milled birch plywood ribs which are pre-fabricated into modular units and spray finished with a clear lacquer. These units are hung on a series of z-clips bolted to the interior wall, and held in place by self-weight.

LASVIT - Pulse Kinetic Lighting for d3 District Dubai

The kinetic sculpture aptly named Pulse adorns the atrium of d3´s Core 4 building. Suspended in the skylight, Pulse brings the entire space to life. Inspired by the pulse of human heart when in motion, at first the individual elements disperse throughout the atrium, imitating the glass-making sands when scattered on the ground.

The Optic Cloak

The Optic Cloak

British artist Conrad Shawcross has installed a 49-metre-high structure around the soon-to-be built chimneys of an energy centre on Greenwich Peninsula in southeast London. Shawcross collaborated with Danish architecture firm CF Møller to design The Optic Cloak, commissioned by Knight Dragon, the developer overhauling the peninsula.
