Scale

Benjamin Hubert, of design agency Layer, has come up with a modular acoustic partition system for Woven Image that’s incredibly flexible. After three years in development and 15 prototyping stages, Scale makes its debut as a sustainable option for creating workplace privacy and flexible spaces. Not only does it become a space divider, it provides audio absorption to cut down on noise.

Scale is produced from sustainable materials and because of its nature, it adapts over time so you’ll never need to throw it out. The stand-alone system is made up of pressed recycled hemp tiles, that come in a variety of colors, which clip onto an injection molded ABS framework that’s mounted onto aluminum base plates. The intuitive mechanical fittings make it a breeze to assembly and disassemble.
