The shukhov stool by Anna Strupinskaya & Alexey Ivashkevich celebrates the visual style of the heritage Radio tower known as the Shukhov Tower in Moscow. The stool follows the same hyperboloid design, using wooden elements held together using 3D printed joinery.

The structure created by these wooden pieces is capable of taking a great deal of load. The seating surface is adorned with bottle corks, giving it quite a quirky aesthetic that looks strangely inviting, and feels comfortable too, given cork’s inherent softness!
