Kent State University
Additive Formwork by Brian Peters, explores the potential and advantages of 3D printed, flexible formwork for precast concrete architectural applications.
This research experiments with 3D printed malleable polymers as a mold at both a small and large scale, to determine the limitations and opportunities for architects and designers in construction. This paper describes the background research, concept, fabrication process, materials, methods and conclusions of this work in progress.
