Traditional hourglass timers are an effective albeit antiquated way to perform timing, but is no longer the most graceful way to time tasks thanks to the Sparkpluck’s kinetic timer ‘Chrolo.’

Featuring a 3D-printed design that consists of 59 slides, the timer works by dropping a ball bearing at the top and allowing it to make its way down the various trough sections. The ball will hit the integrated symbol on the bottom to indicate that a minute is up to create a satisfying sensation that hourglasses can’t.

The Sparkpluck ‘Chrolo’ timer has been achieved through STL 3D printing that utilizes resin and UV light curing, which is to thank for the graceful, artistic design that is almost otherworldly.
