The Twin-Z car in collaboration with Renault sets out to explore opportunities of shape and geometry to seamlessly integrate a variety of different functions and elements within a continuous form. Elements articulate, appear and disappear with fluidity forming a holistic object of latent complexity. We were able to achieve this by collaboratively exploring a variety of manufacturing processes.

Renault has teamed up with designer Ross Lovegrove to create a new concept which will be unveiled at the Triennale of Milan on April 8th 2013. According to Renault, the concept will explore new design languages which embrace nature. The concept also promises to be environmentally friendly to “bring awareness and understanding of those phenomena and their current impact.”

Marketing hyperbole aside, the concept appears to be a hatchback that features flower-inspired fog lights, green alloy wheels and a large rear spoiler. We can also see distinctive tires and wave-inspired accents.
