Loft vs Ruled Surface
Mathematically, the Loft and Ruled Surface components operate differently.
Loft can process a list of curves, whereas Ruled Surface is limited to just two curves.
However, when creating a surface between two curves, both components may yield valid results.
In such cases, the Ruled Surface component typically performs much faster than Loft.
If the input curves are single segments (e.g., lines, arcs, or freeform NURBS), the results from both components will be identical.
However, if the input curves are segmented, their outputs may differ. Therefore, it’s important to select the appropriate component based on your desired outcome.
