Michaela Crie Stone lives and works in Rockport, Maine, where she creates pieces that push the parameters of function by blurring the lines between art, craft, and design.
“Continua” is an extraordinary work by the Austrian sculptor Erwin Hauer. These are perforated modular panels that result in a cobogó-style work of art to cover walls, separate rooms or even serve as adornments for the home. “Continua” portray modernism perfectly.
Erwin Hauer made a selection with 120 beautiful photos of his works, all in black and white. Some of the artist’s sculptures can be found in public collections such as the Brooklyn Museum of Art, Chicago Art Institute, Wadsworth Atheneum, Benson Sculpture Park among others.
Erwin Hauer continues his work as a sculptor and is Professor Emeritus at Yale University School of Art.
