Stalactite
TETRO+A and WHITEvoid present its immense light structure ‘STALACTITE’ which floats above the audience of the bright brussels festival 2018 in belgium. it invites to ‘switch off’ the irrelevant and concentrate on the bliss of the pure audio-visual statement. Underneath the monumental installation created by christopher bauder and boris divider, people will gather like drips fallen from the stalactite, forming a vivid counterpart to the perfectly plain and abstract architectural design.
layers of light composed by 360 light rods create pulsating animations generating complex shapes and light patterns within media artists TETRO+A and WHITEvoid‘s ‘STALACTITE’. The light animations are directly synchronized with the electronic score composed by boris divider. The sequential and minimalist progressive audio and visual journey of the light structure runs as a continuous loop for the audience to enter and exit at any time. Soft cushions on the floor invite spectators to slow down and gaze.
